Bing has won an International Emmy Award in the Kids Pre-school category at The International Emmy® Kids Awards on 5th April 2016 presented in partnership with Reed MIDEM at MIPTV, Cannes, France. The pre-school 78X7 mins kids show is closest to our hearts when it comes to the projects we have been part of and winning the Emmy makes us extremely proud. We are extremely thankful to Acamar Films and Brown Bag Films who gave us the opportunity to bring Bing to life.
Mikael Shields, CEO of Acamar Films and Brown Bag Films’ Nicky Phelan (Director of Bing) accepted the Award.
Mikael Shields at the award ceremony said – Huge congratulations to all the nominees in this category – it means so much to have been nominated alongside some of the best international children’s television programmes. A big thank you to everyone involved in the creation of Bing – and of course to all of the fabulous Bing Bunny fans and Bingsters who have supported us on the journey so far.
